In 1971, Prince Hall Military Lodge #27 was a subordinate lodge of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Arizona.  And the Worshipful Master was Alford L. Gleghorn.  Worshipful Master Gleghorn served in 1971 and 1972 and was the first Worshipful Master was in now known as King Solomon Lodge #2.

On April 29, 1977, Bro. David Coe Jr. laid down his working tools from a heart attack.  PHML #27 petitioned to name the lodge after David Coe Jr.  Mrs. Coe was then asked for permission to name the lodge as such.

On December 13, 1979, Prince Hall Military Lodge #27 members voted unanimously to join the other Prince Hall Lodges (St. Marks #15 and Jodie Cannon Lodge #28) to form the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Nevada.

 

On May 6, 1980, Prince Hall Military Lodge #27 became David Coe Jr. Lodge #27.

 

On August 16, 1980, the first Most Worshipful Grand Master, Clester Nelson, of the newly assembled Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Nevada issued a warrant to David Coe Jr. Lodge #27, formerly Prince Hall Military Lodge #27, and Worshipful Master Aaron Thomas, Senior Warden John Woodard, and Junior Warden Eugene Venerable.

David Coe Jr. Lodge #27 was renumbered, along with other lodges, to David Coe Jr. Lodge #2.

In 1985, David Coe Jr. Lodge #2 chanded its' name to...... King Solomon Lodge #2.

​

As of 2017, King Solomon Lodge #2 has had 5 of the 10 members become Most Worshipful Grand Masters, including the current Grand Master, Reverend Richard Vega.

King Solomon Lodge #2 continues to be actively involved in the community with charity, brotherly love, and truth.
